State Credit Union will not call you to ask for your debit or credit card number, your security code, or expiration date to verify transactions on your account. We will not video call you. We will not ask for any of your usernames, passwords, or for any passcode you receive via text message.

Yearly
Check your credit report once per year for free, and shred all documentation you no longer need.

Contact us as soon as possible so we can update your address. Make sure we always have your correct address on file so documents go to the right place..
Monthly
Open and review your statement, especially if you don't use SCU Online. We also offer ID Theft Protection services with monthly credit and fraud monitoring.
Regularly
